Don't Hate Kate

David can get pretty outraged about things like politics, religious hypocracy, and what women do to themselves in order to measure up to what he thinks is a twisted and unattractive standard of beauty in this culture. Here's part of his ranting last night while looking at a picture of the actress Kate Bosworth from the movie, "Superman Returns."

"My entire body is being sucked up by my head. In a few weeks I'll be just a head, a fabulous head."

"A woman should have curves, not right-angles."

"I don’t know what heterosexual male could possibly look at this woman and say, 'Yeah, she's hot!'"

"If this was the renaissance there would be no great art. Michelangelo would say, 'I'm not going to spend years sculpting that! Here, here's a twig, I'm done!'"
