I declare my joy in the moment, and the problem with that is the moment changes. I declare my grief in the moment, and the good thing about that is the moment changes. But the bad thing about all of it is--you never expect the joy to go, and you can't imagine the grief ever leaving.

Sometimes it feels like they are the same thing-grief and joy-just seen from a different perspective.
