What's Cooking?

A few weeks ago Annie was at her babysitter's apartment down the street. Food was left on the stove, it caught on fire and the fire department came. Although it was a relatively minor incident, the apartment did fill up with smoke, the babysitter's husband had to receive oxygen, and Annie was shaken and upset. Since then, she has had a slight preoccupation with fire.

A conversation at dinner:

Annie: "What do you think the worst place would be for a fire?"

Katie: "A high-rise?"

Annie: "Nope, a hospital."

Katie: "True."

Annie: "Yeah because there are all those people there, paralyzed and armless. I sure hope they don't do a lot of cooking in hospitals."
