A Choice of Words

David, Annie and I were sitting in a theatre, Annie looked up at the painted imagery on the ceiling.

Annie: “Mommy, look at the centaur!”

Me: “Do you know what the significance of the centaur is?”

Annie: "I don’t know what the word ‘significance’ means."

superkid may not know what significance means, but she LIVES it every day ...

I wonder if this post translated well.

I thought it was kind of cool that she knew what a centaur was, (She certainly didn’t learn it from her American education.) The fact that she didn’t know what the word significance meant... to me... has no significance.

As always Rev., thank you for sharing your awe of the super girl, your kids are pretty damn wonderful too.
