I love this picture of Tiki. She's the daughter of Dina, a faithful and beloved Half Note reader from Hawaii. Tiki was determined to ride a wave solo yesterday, and after her first try out she insisted on going again and again.
The determination and persistence in her face moves me, her little feet gripping the board and her arms positioned for balance proves that when loved and encouraged, we are capable of anything.

Thanks Katie and Tai!! I tend to give up when I don't catch "on" to things, so she has TAUGHT ME sooo much about persistance.
