Hmmmm... Where I come from (The Great White North) "booter" means something completely different. It occurs when you step into a snowbank (or mud puddle, if it's spring) and the cold dampness overflows your boot-top, thus soaking your foot (which is usually encased in a thick sock).
Getting a "booter" is never a pleasant experience...
And where I come from, getting a "booter" might be a very pleasant experience...
Where I come from, that's totally rad.
