Do you see what I see?

This is a photograph taken in a parking garage, of an elevator door with a message to those parked on the first floor, to remember. But what this photograph brings to my mind is a dream I had the night my father died.

In the dream I was alone inside an elevator, and each time the door opened, my father was standing in front of me. I would scream at him and cry, I would beg him to speak to me and couldn't understand why he wouldn't. He would simply stand and smile. The dream went on like this; the elevator going up, then down, my father there at every floor, smiling, telling me only with his eyes that everything would be all right.

This is a photograph of an elevator door with a message for those parked on the first floor, to remember. This is a photograph of an elevator door with a message for a girl who had a dream the night her father died, to remember.

I'm excited for you that you drempt that...although very painful for you I'm sure, I think it was your Dad letting you know that everything will be okay...through a dream!!! I don't have very many dreams of my parents....and I REALLY WANT TO!!!
