The dreamer examines her mother

I have been the daughter of a stage director for 44 years, 4 months, 6 days and 12 hours, and in all of the shows my mother has directed, one thing comes through without fail and that is magic. She is a woman who sees and accepts that there is beauty and humanity even around the darkest corners, and whether she's working with seasoned professionals or enthusiastic rookies, in a 1200 seat theatre or in the basement of a church, she always manages to bring to life the art, humor and truth that we may not see until she has so gracefully delivered it to the stage.
