I haven't been sick in years, but today Annie and I are home with high fevers. David is out of town, I have to take care of my child but can hardly move, there's a wild puppy under my feet that needs tending to, and I cannot let my mother help because I'm afraid she'll get sick. I have recurring chills and long for someone to take care, just a little care, of me.

Pity party
I haven't been sick in years, but today Annie and I are home with high fevers.
