Well you know what I think of this! We don't have many world class jazz musicians in the UK but Surman has been there for almost forty years. Incidentally he plays everything on this track. If you ever get a chance to see him do a live solo concert...
He did a great album with Jack DeJohnette 'Amazing Adventures of Simon Simon'. But there are many others too - 'Thimar' with Dave Holland and Anouar Brahem is one of his very best.
