Out walking with Annie and her friends--Giselle, Varuni, and Jasmine.

Me: "Giselle, who are you talking to?"

Giselle: "I'm talking to Varuni."

Me: "But Varuni is talking on her cellphone."

Varuni removes the phone from her ear and looks at me.

"It's OK," she says, "I can talk and listen at the same time."
