Last week in the women's restroom at work, I inadvertently pulled too many paper towels out of the dispenser and they all fell to the floor. Since then, I have been drying my hands on my jeans, and will do so as many times as I think it would have taken me to use the paper towels I dropped.

I think the mere fact that you actually WASH & dry your hands after using a public restroom earns you absolution from the sin of dumping paper towels on the floor !!!
Nothing sickens me and saddens me more than seeing people bolt out the door of a washroom with unwashed hands !!!!!
Yuck doesn't even begin to describe it ... particularly when you're in a restaurant and THEY are in line subsequent to that ... I've left establishments after that - for GOOD reason!!
Go in peace - your penance has been earned !!!
