The way things are

It's funny how you can have a whole life of focusing on something, longing for something, dreaming of something--then when you finally find that something, you begin to miss the time when you were focusing on, dreaming of, and longing for that something.

Welcome back! I too have missed your posts.

Sigh. The truth of this one affirms the importance of the oft cited saw, live in the moment. Funny how big a challenge that is, but the present is your life and today's dreams not so much.

And I am reminded of something I heard (read?) once: You know God's really pissed at you when you get exactly what you've wished for.

Be well,
