Super Sad

Last Sunday David and Annie returned from seeing “Superman Returns.” David was in the kitchen, I went to him and he put his arms around me.


Katie: “I feel lonely today.”
Dave: “Like Superman?”
Katie: “Why is Superman lonely?”
Dave: “Because he loves Lois, he’s an alien, and he has to save the world.”
Katie: "Like me."
Dave: “Yeah.”
